I bought a log of wasbi flavored goat cheese awhile back, and it's been haunting my fridge ever since. I haven't been able to figure out what I should use it for--I haven't Googled it like I normally would. I was thinking I could make a batch of crustless quiche, but that's too predictable. I'm thinking I want something different. Maybe a dip or something. Anyone have any ideas?
I got nothing.. sorry! ;) But I wanted to say wasabi is one of my favourite things in the world. :)
ReplyDeleteI was counting on you! I thought for sure you'd have a rice cake snack. ;)
DeleteThe only thing i can think of is a seared tuna tortilla pizza. I'm picturing a tortilla (or flatbread) topped with ahi tuna, wasabi goat cheese and drizzled with some kind of balsalmic or soy sauce reduction. Maybe some chopped green onions or caramelized onions. Then bake it til the cheese is all bubbly!!
ReplyDeleteor make your own sushi rolls but replace any cream cheese with wasabi goat cheese! Yum!!
DeleteThat's very creative! Both of these ideas sound delicious.
